Mental stress injury claims are dynamic and present unique challenges to employers whose goal is to achieve timely, safe and sustainable return to work outcomes. As legislation has expanded WSIB coverage for occupational mental stress injuries and our understanding of these types of claims has matured, various Schedule 2 employers have implemented different approaches/strategies that have resulted in positive outcomes for workers experiencing mental stress injuries.
With the objective of continuous learning, the WSIB is extending an invitation to Schedule 2 employers to participate in an interactive workshop whereby employers can share those approaches/strategies with the WSIB via anonymized case studies.
